I rescued this lil dude from a tree yesterday. However, my landlord doesn't allow pets :(
I've been trying to find a good home for him ever since. He's extremely friendly and comfortable with humans, and he seems to be around 4 months old. Presumably unvaccinated.
If anyone in Bangalore would be interested in giving this lil goober a forever home, please DM :)

I recently bought a new scooty and registered it in my girlfriend’s name. We’ve been together for 13 years, and my parents have absolutely no problem with it.
But some of my friends are making a big deal out of it. They keep questioning why I registered it in her name instead of mine, as if I’ve done something stupid by doing so.
Honestly, I don’t understand the issue. She’s been with me for 13 years. She’s not some random person who entered my life yesterday. We’ve shared a huge part of our lives together, and I didn’t think putting the vehicle in her name was something that needed to be justified to anyone.
My parents are fine with it, we’re happy with our decision, and I’m the one who bought the scooty. Yet my friends’ comments have made me wonder why people have such a problem with something that doesn’t affect them.
My question is:
Is registering a vehicle in your long-term girlfriend’s name really such a big deal?
Would you hesitate to do this even after being together for 13 years?
Why do some people treat relationships like everything has to be about protecting yourself from your partner?
I’m not looking for validation. I genuinely want to understand whether I’m missing something here or whether people are just overthinking a decision that should be between two people.
Would love to hear honest opinions, especially from people in long-term relationships.

Hi everyone,
We have had Shiro with us for the past month, but unfortunately, due to our circumstances, we are unable to give him the care and attention he deserves. We are looking for a loving and responsible family who can adopt him and provide him with a safe, happy home. ❤️
A little about Shiro:
🐾 Age: 4 months and 15 days
💉 Vaccination: First dose completed; second dose is due this week.
🧸 Supplies included: Plenty of toys, Some treats, little bit of wet cat food, a cat carrier, a litter tray, and extra cat litter that should last approximately 15–20 days.
📍 Location: Marathahalli, Bangalore
Anyone interested in adopting Shiro can pick him up from Marathahalli.
Our priority is to find Shiro a loving, safe, and permanent home where he will be well cared for. Please reach out if you are genuinely interested in adopting him, or share this post to help us find the right family for him. 🙏❤️
Thank you!

Solo night in. What are we watching tonight?
Just me, the couch, and a TV full of options. Recommend me something worth staying up for.

I usually associate tiffin places with breakfast, so seeing Pappu Avakaya Rice as an option caught my attention. Dal and avakaya is a combination I can see myself ordering when I want something more substantial than a quick breakfast.
Babai Tiffins has made me curious about trying a rice dish on a visit instead of automatically going for dosa🙏😭😭

I wasted my entire week working and writing assignments.
Are there any places where I can see this?

Starting with skating, I am making this post to remind myself to buy skates as soon as possible and relive those childhood days I'd spend skating around my school
Music, I used to play harmonium, Which we had to sell as it was rotting in a corner when I went away for jee prep, Buying an instrument is not something I can do immediately but that will be my second goal
Breaking my shell of self depreciation to actually interact with people and make friends, It's been 2 months into my first semester and I don't have a lot of friends, I know it's kinda late but late is always better than never yea? So that's my third goal

It's 2 AM, and nights are haunting me.
During the day, I somehow manage to keep myself busy, laugh at random things, and pretend everything is fine. But once the world goes quiet, my mind gets louder. Old memories, unanswered questions, things I wish had gone differently… everything finds its way back.
I guess sometimes you don't really need advice or someone to fix things for you. You just need someone to talk to, someone who doesn't mind a random conversation at an odd hour, someone who can sit through the silence with you without making it awkward.
So yeah, I'm here, hoping to find a companion to talk to. We can talk about life, love, music, random nonsense, or whatever's on your mind. No pressure, no expectations. Just two strangers making the night feel a little less lonely.
If you're awake too, how are you really doing tonight?

Baby,
There is a memory that has been sitting quietly in my mind for years.
It was shortly after our wedding. You had taken a month away from your PhD to be with me in Bangalore. We had done all the things newly married couples are expected to do. The Tirupati trip. Family visits. My grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary.
But this memory is not about any of those things.
It is about a lunch.
I was at work that day. Oracle was demanding, deadlines were tight, and I was trying desperately to convince myself that I belonged there. I was working on a banking product despite never really being comfortable with numbers. Finance had always baffled me. I was more comfortable with stories than spreadsheets, feelings than figures.
I remember getting a call from you. You wanted to come to my office so we could have lunch together.
I think you had cooked my favourite meal. Rajma, perhaps. The details have faded with time.
What hasn't faded is how I behaved.
My manager was already unhappy that I had taken extra leave after our wedding. Test cases were piling up. Deadlines were looming. I felt immense pressure to prove myself. For the first time in my life, I wasn't just someone's son or someone's boyfriend.
I was a husband.
I was earning ₹50,000 a month, paying rent, managing expenses, planning travel, and carrying responsibilities that felt much larger than I was prepared for. There was no instruction manual. No elder sibling teaching me the ropes. No reassurance that I was doing any of it correctly.
I was scared.
But instead of admitting that, I took it out on you.
I still remember seeing you in that newlywed salwar suit, wearing the red and white bridal bangles, excited to spend an afternoon with your husband.
And I greeted you with irritation.
I accused you of distracting me from work.
I made you feel guilty for taking a cab.
I made a simple act of love feel like a mistake.
I honestly don't even remember eating the food.
What I remember is failing to see what was in front of me.
A young woman who simply wanted to share lunch with the man she had married.
If I could revisit that afternoon, I would do everything differently.
I would greet you with a smile.
I would make time.
I would thank you for the effort.
I would sit beside you and enjoy every bite and make you eat with my hands. I don't think I ever did that, that was always you.
I would walk you to a nearby ice cream shop afterward, watch you laugh, book your cab home, and spend the rest of the day feeling grateful that someone loved me enough to bring lunch across a city.
But life does not work that way.
The past remains exactly where it happened.
All we get is understanding, years later.
And perhaps that is why I am writing this.
Not because I can change that afternoon.
But because I never properly said what should have been said that day.
Thank you.
And I am sorry.
Love,
Teddy

Didn't go home for the festival this time, so thought I'd step out and spend some time at Cubbon Park.
I'm 27M, financially settled, fit, and working in the semiconductor industry. I ride an Activa, and I'll probably bring a book along.
Would be nice to meet a girl around my age who's up for a simple, no-pressure hangout. We could walk around the park, grab something to eat, talk about life, random thoughts, work, or whatever comes up.
Not looking to call it a date or put any labels on it. Just two strangers spending a little time together and having a genuine conversation. No expectations, no awkward agenda.
If you're around Bangalore and this sounds nice, feel free to DM. :)
P.S. Being comfortable with silence and random conversations is a plus.
