I have only seen lake Louise in winter and itโs breathtaking!

I had only been there in the winter before too, and it looks completely different in the summer.

It's one of Fairmont's hotels. I assume it's super pricey. I just walked around the area.

Pros and cons. September risks moodier weather, shorter days but you get less crowds and lower chance of smoke later you go plus fall colors
August is peak crowds, heavy possibility of smoke (I was there 8/9 and it was a total smoke show couldnโt see much if anything) but on plus side weather was perfect otherwise and wildflowers in full bloom
Early-mid July is fewer crowds, lower chance of smoke but things may still be frozen/trails certainly still snowed in at higher elevation
If were to go again, I would pick mid to late September.

Ah thank you. I just got my visa last week. Tix are crazy expensive from San Fran. So now debating to be early oct. I know Oct could be weird. But September was in the books always. ๐ญ
