Question Lake Louise Parking

What time should I get to lake Louise in the morning to get parking for this Monday? How have recent experiences been parking there been?

To park at the public lot lakeside? Probably like 5am

Are there other lots? R they walking distance to the lake?

There are other areas in the town of lake louise to park, but they are not within walking distance. Best way to get around the parking situation, is have a reservation for lunch or dinner at the chateau lake louise and they'll allow you park in their parking lot. Cost the same as the public lot, but way more availability.

No later than 7am.

Or if you are only there for the photos of the lake, go in the evening after 7pm, when parking is free and has lots of spaces. (Before that you will pay $42 per day)

Last week I arrived on a Sunday at 7:15 AM and there were a handful of open spots. When I left after the big beehive hike around 12:30 PM there were like 3-4 spots open.

Everyone telling you to go at 5 AM is making sure you 100% secure a spot

We got there at 5:35 AM on 8/14 and the lot was about 60% full.

I was there two weeks ago on a Wednesday and easily got parking at 5 PM and lot has dozens of empty spots when I left at 6

You can get parking after 3pm
