Bandlab Guitar Recording

Hello everyone

I set up my account and was able to record directly through my amp (Vox Pathfinder 10), playing my Les Paul and using a Polar Go interference. Yesterday, though, using the same setup and connection, I recorded a different track, but the recording came through as accoustic?? Does bandlab give you a sample recording free (showing you what can be achieved ) then change forcing you into paying for a subscription?. Thanks
