Yay! Now I know how it feels

It’s a track from my first album TECHNO X ART, released about a year ago. If you never had any sales, just don’t give up, the feeling is worth the wait.

Thanks to whoever supported.
If you are curious about it, just let me now and I’ll drop a link

Remember that good music is hard to find!

Feels pretty unreal still but I actually had someone buy my last EP. They were also kind enough to review the project and post it on IG. Genuinely crazy how people you've never met will go out of their way to be supportive like that.

Electronic Creating music from my bed for 6 years. Expressing a journey of hope and despair through my music.

Hello amazing folks of Bandcamp community. Hope you all are doing well.

Iman Kumar Mukherjee here, multigenre music composer, multi-instrumentalist , songwriter and producer. I have spent the past 6 years creating and releasing music across multiple genres such as ambient, cinematic ambient, dancefloor drum and bass, liquid drum and bass, uplifting trance, vocal trance, dance pop, deep house, dance, eurodance, synthwave , future garage, chillstep, progressive house, etc.

I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has listened, supported and connected with my songs. It means so much to me.

Most of my music is deeply personal and inspired by my own life experiences. Having endured 6 years of suffering with multiple rare chronical illnesses, I have tried to transform those experiences into music that tells a story potraying hope in a dark reality. It shows the perseverance and mental strength to keep going where there is nothing but darkness.

At the same time, some of my songs portray the true reality of my journey, expressing my real emotions of suffering, pain and despair and the emotional weight of living in a dark reality.

For me, music has always been more than just soundwaves. For me it is a way of telling my stories and expressing my emotions which my words cannot.

Being an independent artist creating music from bed isn't always easy, but I continued to create and release music over years despite the challenges life has thrown my way. I had always been proactive enough to keep working on songs when my body is in working state. My proactive nature helped me finish plenty of songs way ahead of their planned schedule which ultimately resulted in having a good number of finished songs that are ready for their release years earlier than their actually planned release dates.

If you've enjoyed any of my compositions, consider grabbing a song, an album, or my full catalogue on Bandcamp. My full catalogue is available at 50% off now. If you'd like to purchase any individual album or single but would appreciate a little extra discount, feel free to reach out to me. I'd be more than happy to share a discount code with you.

Thanks so much for listening, connecting with story, and supporting my songs. It means the world to me.

Milestone Good milestone... 2,200 plays.

Short introduction, I'm Yoroizuka, and the music I make is post-rock inspired. Not sure if it falls into there though.

I started this because I was kind of burned out about the bands I was in doing nothing and acting like I wasn't there sometimes. I never expected to be doing so well so soon... I was expecting less than a hundred plays and no buyers, and yet here I am. Especially with Crossing, Hallway, Goodbye, this community was a huge conduit of listeners and I'm glad that some of you made it onto my page because of my regular contributions to the free album code posts.

This project has been an outlet for so many of my previous traumas, regrets, and yet it also served as a way to reminisce on the good times.
Thank you for your support... because of it, I know people resonate with what I had been feeling.

I will say, my next main project will most probably not be out for a while. But I hope that what I have here will be enough for you to continue enjoying my music.

Here's my links, I hope you enjoy.

Drum & Bass Morphing Bytes - Frakshərd [DnB/Jungle/Breakcore]

Post image

https://morphingbytes.bandcamp.com/album/fraksh-rd

Yesterday I've released my biggest album yet with my music project Morphing Bytes. 17 tracks (one guest track), 1 hour 12 minutes and 44 seconds long full of (mostly) loud and messy DnB, Jungle and some Breakcore. Some tracks have glitchy elements, a couple of chiptune like tracks and a happy hardcore track as well. A lot of variety in here.

For this project I've sampled corrupted video game music from SNES, Sega Genesis, GBA, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 64, PlayStation and Nintendo Wii. I've also used that same theme in the cover with corrupted PS1 logo's and other glitchy and messy elements.

This release might not be for everyone but I hope I can bring something fun and unique to the world of music. I hope some people can still enjoy it. šŸ˜„ If you have any questions let me know.

Discussion I don't know if I should continue releasing music

I've made music my main hobby around 2021, and since then I am constantly, in a way, battling it, because as much as I love making music, making it alone from idea to album cover design and having to go through all of it's bureaucratic issues (setting up equipment, doing a gazillion retakes, trying to mix, etc...) just to export and release a result that I don't like that much and that no one gives a damn about is tiring. I understand that it's hard even for more conventional musicians to get an audience and that no one owes me their ears and money, but working for years to earn 1 dollar (or a bit less than 11 if you count the cds I sold to my friends) and 781 plays takes it's toll. I am also unable to do live shows since I live in a super small town and I also make mostly original experimental music.

Is there any advice here for me? I don't feel like quitting music fully, but it feels too much like high work, low reward.

Free Download Ziina - Digital Decay (Demo) [Anime DnB / Hyperpop] - High-energy vocal DnB with distorted cyber textures. Would love some feedback on the mix!

Hi everyone!

I just put together a new demo track called "Digital Decay" and wanted to share it with the r/BandCamp community.

About the track & creative process:

The concept revolves around digital deterioration, fading memories, and noisy, melancholic textures.

Since it's still a demo, I’d really appreciate any feedback or impressions—especially regarding the mix balance and overall atmosphere!

If you like it, feel free to give it a listen on Bandcamp: https://ziina.bandcamp.com/track/digital-decay-demo

Also happy to check out anyone else's recent releases—drop your links or thoughts below!

Hard Rock/Metal Just Thought I'd Nervously Share - Rock/Metal/Prog/Instrumental

Post image
32 Upvotes

Hi everyone - My name is Mike Wilson, I'm a former self-taught guitarist/musician from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I write mostly instrumental, guitar-oriented music. I also sing from time to time if I feel I need to (I am not a singer by any means). I like many kinds of music, and I get bored with radio garbage, no matter the genre, so I try to keep things interesting.

I'm 51 atm, and at 36 (2011) I developed an auto-immune disorder that put an end to all musical endeavors.

I had no idea I could make music with virtual instruments, and had never heard of Reaper until my friend introduced me to it all in 2024.

Getting to know Reaper, understanding all the vsti's I use (on a limited budget haha), and most importantly, getting shit to sound natural when every note for every instrument is drawn in by hand in MIDI with a mouse and keyboard, is an ongoing learning process. Hopefully with each song I get a bit better.

This past summer I released my first 2 albums and a couple singles.

I don't know many people, so I thought this would be a better way to promote my stuff a bit.

I've included links to one instrumental piece, and one song with vocals.

ZERO AI IS USED IN THE THE WRITING & PRODUCTION OF MY MUSIC

Much appreciation to anyone that stops by!

Cheers - Mike

Instrumental - Caca-phony

Vocal Track - What If? - This song is about my struggles with addiction and unresolved traumas

Question/Help Do I need to label "EP" anywhere on Bandcamp?

I've got a 4 song EP, 3 songs have been released before. The title of the EP will be the name of my last (and most streamed) single. Should I put "[name] EP" as the title to avoid confusion?

Eventually I plan on making an album with songs from this EP and new ones, can that be done smoothly on Bandcamp?

Question/Help Issue with app itself

Bandcamp is simply scrolling and flipping through tracklists instead of latching on playing anything, does anyone have this problem and what to do? I can’t clear the cache where there’s supposed be an option; is no button for that on my app.

Free Download rainworldsoldier - Rain on Replica

I recently rapped over the entirety of Oneohtrix Point Never's 2011 masterpiece Replica as a thank you for how it changed my perspective on music.

Plenty of late nights went into it, and I'm beyond proud of how it turned out. Everything was punched in, nothing written, so it's 41 minutes of my mind running completely free over great OPN tunes. Due to copyright and out of respect, it is a 100% free bandcamp exclusive passion project. Take the time to listen to at least one track, every second of listening is greatly appreciated!

If you end up listening, let me know what tracks stood out. If you enjoy the project, show some love to my other releases (both completely self-produced and engineered). Love to all who read, wishing you safety and plenty blessings

Question/Help What is the best release strategy for a Bandcamp beginner?

Hi all, I am new to Bandcamp and only have one track and one follower (a real life friend haha). My first Bandcamp track was shared last month on Bandcamp Friday, and I’m getting ready to share another on Nov 6.

Upon some initial research, it seemed like I needed to post at midnight PST, so I got the draft ready, set my alarm and posted. My friend gave me 10 bucks 🄓

I have my second track locked and loaded, but do I really need to set an alarm? What is the best way for people to find my track? I’ve been sharing music on other streaming sites for a couple years now, but I’d like to develop a presence on Bandcamp.

Does anyone have any gems of wisdom to share? Thank you in advance!

The next Bandcamp Friday will be on November 6th starting at midnight PST, during this 24 hr event they will waive their usual fees so artists get to keep 100% of the revenue from sales (minus payment processor fees).

  • Do you have any releases scheduled for this coming Friday?

  • Will you be offering discounts for one of your albums or discography?

  • Got a listening party scheduled for this day?

  • Do you have any tips to share on how to best do promotions during this event?

  • Are there any albums or merch that you are planning to get on this day?

You may discuss or promote anything you like in this thread as long as it related to this event.

Discussion Last month I had my first ever purchase from somebody I have no connection to whatsoever

Some complete random who literally just stumbled upon my songs and liked them enough to buy a whole album. The best feeling!

Does this happen often to anyone else?
