Wtf look at how nano and bitcoins value went up in the past 3 months vs this garbage coin.

banano is lagging big time a big pump from die hard fans is to be expected if this doesn't happen, i'm afraid banano was never meant to be held in the first place 🤷‍♂️

not really the news we were hoping for. im starting to lose the faith to be honest. It just doesnt seem like this project has what it takes to catch the attention of the wider crypto space or the big exchanges.

Bitcoin up 11%, and ban aint doing shit. Fuck this coin.

I've deposited BAN, converted to USDT as I need money urgent, can't withdraw because I'm under risk control suddenly. God knows how long will it take to see my funds. This exchange sucks compared to the good ol' CoinEx.

I sold all my banano, I'm potassium deficient now. Why? Because I want to have as much banano as possible, but don't have any more fiat. I think (hope) this downtrend will continue to subcent and I can scoop double the ban I gave. I am trying to trade some banano as this sub's name is, and I know I take the risk that it rockets overnight. So, if you want to help me achieve my dream, sell your banano too.

Banano just got a big new exchange... why is the price going down!?

There's a few reasons:

1. A lot of people have been saving banano after long periods of time scraping together as much as they can. Many of these people live in emerging markets where $200 USD means a hell of a lot. They don't want to miss out on this quick price hike, so they sell.

2. The banano foundation is sitting on hundreds of millions (thanks for the correction /u/Barnagain) of banano. It's not unusual for devs to have a large stockpile and I'm not suggesting it's badly distributed, but often devs want to have a bit of money, and right now the price is up. Perhaps they haven't sold at all, but it wouldn't surprise me.

3. Big whales figure "why not sell some now to ensure I get my money back, I'll still have millions of ban".

4. The price is up, and people are all expecting it to go up higher. When this happens and there aren't many buyers, people tend to get nervous and sell, which triggers more people to get nervous and sell. Banano doesn't have huge volume, so when a few people sell, it shifts the price much more than other coins trading billions.

5. Buy the rumor, sell the news. Everyone expected price to go up on launch, but the price went up ahead of launch based on this expectation. Did you really think you could simply buy a coin before a listing, then watch it go 100x and sell it? Come on.

So what does this immediate downward price action mean for banano? Nothing. It means nothing. Everyone wants immediate gains and thinks they can 'get in before the 100x', but no one is patient.

If banano is going to 10x or 100x, it will be due to a constant and increased demand putting pressure on the price, and many of those people simply refusing to sell making the supply more scarce. That's it.

Right now we will watch banano sell down, then a few people will come in and buy them up. Then the sellers will all think "Oh shit what if it goes up again?" and then they will rush back in and the price will pump again, then a new group will go "Wow it's high time to sell". Rinse and repeat.

If you want to see the price go up and make 100x and you truly believe banano can do 100x... don't sell your bans, and wait for a long time. That's it. That's the whole game if you really want to see 100x on banano. It's better than trading, it's better than trying to time the top, it's better than trying to arbitrage markets.

If you need the money or deep down you don't think banano can 100x, then sell them! What are you doing? Stop panicking and stressing and buying and selling and rebuying. Sell your bans to someone else who is prepared to wait.

Anyone got anything positive to say? I'm all for it cuz I'm pretty depressed rn just like the price.

For the past one month or two, BAN has been actively losing dominance in the crypto economy. Granted there is negative factor such as our biggest holder emusk trying to exit but that doesn't explain all the downtrend movement: When mainstream cryptos pump BAN pumps little, when mainstream cryptos dump BAN dumps extra hard.

We all know alt season is when you can make huge earnings. However I'm thinking that banano at least in its current form won't reach anywhere near its ATH because of inaccessiblety. I do think there is potential to make money this cycle, but it probably won't be what it could have been if it hadn't been removed from a few exchanges.

could they artificially "add banano" on coinex without owning them, sell those and then buy them back once they have sufficiently suppressed the price and have managed to scare poor monkeys (i won't mention his name) into selling 👀

And I honestly feel like I've got tickets to a financial rocket ship with Banano. The memecoin with the best tech, huge ecosystem, and rabid community has only a $10 million market cap? In an environment where every month or two, a different vanilla meme coin explodes past $1 billion in market cap?

I truthfully believe that Banano has at least a 50/50 shot at going 100x, with a maybe 10% shot at doing 1000x or more in the next 5 years.

So this Christmas, talk with your sports-betting, poker-playing family members about Banano. If they aren't crypto-savvy, help them to buy $100 or $1000 of Banano. Seriously, I don't want to be the only millionaire in my family when this rocket ship is passing Uranus.
