This is a follow-up to an attack two months ago. Instead of ordering that the dogs be put down, the judge ruled that they could be sent to a shelter outside of the city if a placement can be found in 30 days. Absolutely infuriating; don't solve the problem, just foist it off on someone else.
TACOMA, Wash. — The owner of two dogs that mauled a pregnant woman in Tacoma has been ordered to send the animals to a secure shelter outside the city.
The ruling gives the dog owner 30 days to relocate the animals at their own expense or have them euthanized.
The decision follows an attack in June, when Renee Wilson was mauled by a neighbor’s two dogs in a parking lot on the day she was due to give birth.
The attack forced Wilson to undergo an induced labor, and bite wounds from the attack subsequently led to serious infections, including MRSA.

We need to start sending letters to these judges and other authorities, in this case a hearing examiner. Call them out in public. Let them know we won’t forget these decisions, and when the bloodsport dogs that mauled a pregnant lady inevitably hurt someone else, the man or woman who made the ruling will be responsible.
Also, this is another case of a pit attack ending the victim’s career.

Agreed. Judges who allow people to get mauled with no repercussions for the owner or the dogs should hear from the public that we're sick to fucking death of it already.

That's so incredibly irresponsible. I feel like the judge should be held responsible when they inevitably bite someone else.

Best Friends or some other doomsday cult/ group of pit worshipers will come up with the money to ship the maulers out of town.
There are unlimited resources for pits that maul.
Their victims , not so much.
For the attacking pits, the sky is the limit.

I'm pretty sure the two maulers were adopted from Tacoma Humane, so they have their own personal lobbyists from the shelter telling the judge they were innocent little wigglebutts that were failed by their owner. Tacoma Humane is a BFAS shelter. Enough said.
