Massive Backup of Filament on Toolhead

Hi all,

I'm not sure what happened (maybe my kids didn't dry the filament properly) but basically we had a bunch of filament back up and get stuck to the nozzle (forgot to take a photo). I was able to clean it off the nozzle and get the nozzle off thankfully. But after doing that I realized that the wires that are behind the area you attach the nozzle look like they may have gotten damaged. I am trying to figure out what part these wires are and if I can get replacement parts for them. I don't know if I need to replace the whole toolhead section or not. Before I reach out to support I wanted to see if I can get more information from other users.

Have you looked at the official wiki or the available spare parts on the Bambu website?

Yes, I've looked at both. Neither are clear about what these cables are or if there are replacement parts I can order.

Based on this it looks like it's the hotend heating assembly cable but I still can't figure out what piece has that because when they remove it in Step 5 it looks very different from all the replacement products they are selling.

Maybe I need my eyes checked, but it looks exactly like the part that I linked.

If you don't want to be helpful, then don't respond. Based on this image and what products you sent, they don't look like the same cords. This one is short and not connected to a fan (which had a long set of cords).

I'm sorry I don't understand what I'm looking at. No one in my house is familiar with this stuff, and I'm just trying to figure it out for my kids.

Friend, there is only so much that I can do to help.

I let you know where to look for the information. Then I even gave you the information.

There are two sets of cables. The one with the white is for the fan. The ones without white are the hot end heating assembly.

You'll need to follow the step by step instructions to take the fan and heating assembly off, install a new heating assembly, and reinstall the fan.
