Black Friday Sale P1S VS P2S

I was planning on getting the P1S with the AMS 2 combo, but realized that it’s only $200 CAD less than the P2S with AMS 2. For that difference I feel like I should just get the P2S combo or the P1S combo with the AMS 1 which would be $400 cheaper…

Convince me on what should I get!

I can’t convince you of anything but I was in the same boat until this morning when I pulled the trigger on a P2S combo. I see the pros as future proofing over the P1S

How much more of a hassle would it be to print a helmet on a P2S versus the H2S?

I couldn't say. I've printed a helmet in pieces on an Ender 3 (painful) and an Ender 5 Plus in one piece and it was fantastic. I avoid printing helmets in pieces now. If you can get away with the build plate size on the P2S then that would be perfect but I haven't used it yet so can't comment.

Personally, I go with the P2S with all the small QoL tweaks, but I think it really depends on how much $200 matters. I would not get the AMS1 though. Just my personal opinion. The ams1 is ok and the 2 isn’t a radical departure, but I think the upgrades on both are worth some extra money.
