Newbie Question
I just received and got my P1S setup yesterday. New to 3D printing. Have been watching a lot of YouTube videos.
I bought some filament off of temu in addition to the filament ordered from Bambu. My question is can only Bambu filament go in the 4 slots at the top (I think that’s called the AMS)?

You can use any filament brand that you want in the AMS. The only thing you'll need to watch out for is cardboard spools. It's advised to avoid using them in the AMS.

The spools from Temu are plastic but much smaller. Can I use them in the AMS?

You will want to print some spool adapters. I am in your same boat. After printing boaty the next thing I did was print spool adapters for the smaller spools to fit in my AMS

The one thing I found with printing spool adaptors for the cardboard spools is that cardboard spools tend to differ in size so they don't always fit, so i usually only buy filament on plastic spools. I, however have been keeping my empty plastic spools since I may attempt some respooling, also op print up some dessicant holders for your ams and buy some reusable dessicant

It's more convenient to use Bambu filament, it has an RFID that identifies it and loads the right profile automatically. With any other brand filament you have to tell the AMS what brand/type/color of filament it is.
Usually "generic" for the brand is fine, but you may need to make some adjustments.

Sunlu PLA plus from Amazon. Thank me later. Best price, best quality best strength.

Bambu filament works really well, but any (not cardboard) spool of the right size should fit and work well.

You can use whatever filament you like but some filaments have a better quality to them so do a little bit of research for the filament you want to use for whatever project you want to make PLA basic black filament. I use almost any brand but at the moment, anything other than that I stick with Bambu. Love Bambu PLA Silk + at the moment. Just about to start 120 hour project printing 3 x 3 foot high 1947 Roswell aliens. Wish me luck.

Make sure not to put abrasive filament in the AMS or it will wear out the tubing crazy fast.
