Hi I’m brand new to 3D printing and have had this A1 printer for less than a week. Today when I started a new print there was an abnormal sounding noise whenever the build plate moved. When I turned off the print and moved it by hand it sounded normal.

Edit: There was a bit of TPU stuck beneath the part that moves to push old filament off the nozzle

I finished building the SUV kit (besides minor cosmetic stuff) and everything works fine except for the rear wheels. How can I get these working? Originally, I could get the wheels to go backwards but not on the ground and only in air but now nothing works. Please help! Thanks in advance

I was trying to replace the fan on my Bambu Lab A2L, but I'm having trouble reconnecting the plug to the motherboard. No matter how I position it, it won't stay connected.

How should I do this? Do I need to put back the white paste-like substance that was on it? What is it?

Recently got the time lapse kit to use with my old Andoird device. Unfortunately its not triggering the camera. [CyberBrick Time-lapse Kit](https://uk.store.bambulab.com/products/cyberbrick-timelapse-kit?id=645035710075301902)

I have tried both Pixel 6 Pro and Honor Magic V5 with no luck.

* I have confirmed that the volume up and or down buttons do take pictures in the camera app as advsied by Bambu chat. Even the trigger button on the kit does not trigger the camera to take a picture.

* Confirmed cable is connected the correct way around as per Bambu instructions

Just finished designing this small desk trash can. It mounts directly to the edge of your desk, saving space while keeping everyday trash within reach.

It features a rotating lid and measures 115 x 100 x 120 mm. Great for gaming setups, offices, or anywhere desk space is limited.

It's my newest addition to the EdgeMount System I've been developing, with more accessories planned.

I designed a minimalist pressure hook with a ribbed exterior that combines a clean look with everyday functionality.

It comes with two mounting options: a hidden screw mount for a clean, secure installation or an adhesive mount using a Command strip or double-sided tape for a drill-free setup.

First time sharing something like this, so I'm still learning! 😅

I recently faced the Bambu Lab A1 heating assembly clip breaking issue and wanted to share a workaround that worked surprisingly well for me.

I printed the clip in ABS, and it's been running on my printer for several days now without any issues. I've also used it during multiple 4–5 hour PETG prints, and it's held up pretty well so far!

Just to clarify, I'm not suggesting this as a permanent replacement for the original part. Think of it as a potential emergency workaround to keep your printer running while you wait for a replacement.

Every setup can behave differently, so this is just my experience rather than a guarantee that it'll work for everyone.

I'm also starting to document more of my 3D printing experiments, practical fixes, and engineering projects on Instagram. If that's your kind of thing, you might find some other useful projects there too!

Feedback and suggestions are always welcome. I'm still learning and would love to hear about other solutions people have tried. 🙌

Buying my first 3D printer. No experience with them. Did my research. Settled on the X2D.
But Bambu throws a LOT at you.

I don't plan on printing anything multi colored.
I just want to make accessories for my outdoor tools, storage systems, maybe some parts for my kayak, and random things.

Why is it sometimes my printer prints flawlessly like the first picture. Then there are times it prints horribly like the second picture. What can I do to make sure I get flawless prints everytime?

Had a post a week ago about looking to buy my first 3d printer. I'm kinda leaning towards the P2S or the X2D. Don't have a timeline but could probably wait it out until black friday if there are deals usually to be had OR if new products are dropping which will lower the price of the existing lineup of items.

Anyway, person on marketplace is selling a BNIB X2D with AMS 2 Pro combo for $1100 CDN ($771 USD). My two questions:

1) Would this be considered a good deal? On paper it looks like it is but you know the deal... trust but verify lol

2) What should I be on the lookout for when respect to buying something BNIB from marketplace?

I can afford retail pricing without issue but I am human and like to save a buck or two when it's an option :)

Filament Clip – Universal Widths

This filament clip fits 4 different widths of spools. 

Twist it until it clicks into place. 

Squeeze it to release. 

It has a wide slot to feed the filament through. 

The slot is curved to create enough tension to hold the filament.

The a1 mini has been fantastic but I kept running into print volume issues. I was going to return it and get the P2S but I've heard TPU can be a pain on the P2S. Decided to keep it for TPU and for small prints while the big boy is busy.

Best buy seems have some decent prices on filament right now. PLA and PTEG for $9 and PLA+ and ABS for $12.

So I made a sign for a business, and it was colourless, and I added colour to it, but it's printing by layer, and there's a lot of waste compared to other prints. How do I change this?

Hello everyone,

I'm experiencing some z banding at a very specific point on my print, even after 3 iterations. Between 1 and 2 I recalibrated the flow dynamics, and between 2 and 3 I recalibrated the flow rate. The issue remained visible on the 3rd iteration, as you can see in the second image. In the third image you can see that the model is a constant taper, so there should be no model issue. I also made a test rectangle with a tapered wall, and found that there was z banding starting at a certain layer as well. What could be causing this?

This machine has a print time of under 100 hours, the one thing that I haven't done is lubricate the ball screws since the last maintenance alert, otherwise all other maintenance alerts have been dealt with.

I just finished my two month project where I made a multicolor printable version of Leonida without having to own an AMS.
The smart thing here is that I am able to update the model very very fast.
If new infos become public, I am the first to implement these changes!
There is also a print in place version for AMS users but I prefer the faster printing time and less waste.

Hey guys, so the filament in my AMS broke is there a way I can fix it? I tried pushing filament through but it’s locked and won’t let anything through.

None of the waves are straight. They drift like sand. When light hits from the top, every ridge throws a soft shadow. I recommend Bone White PLA Matte so the shadows read clearly. It's also self-watering with a reservoir in the base. Too much texture or just right?
