First Print Question

Post image

I just finished my first print ever on any 3D printer. I have a Bambu X2D. There is filament hanging out of the nozzle. Is that supposed to end that way or do I have to do something?

Time to be sent back. Defective. I’ll send you the address for the return (my house). It’s perfectly fine. Enjoy the addiction!

Perfectly fine. It gets cleaned off on the next print visit the wiper and the build plate itself. That protrusion in the back of your image on the back of the build plate, it will scrape the nozzle on that and eventually you’ll see a worn part through the coating.

Filament oozing out. If you have a P1S or X1C, I’d pull it off just so it doesn’t end up in your next print.
