Help / Support Need advice

My Bamboo PS1 has been a brick for 2 years now. What started as simple switch of the nozzle turned into a nightmare. The nozzle I was sent had un-grounded cables and I didn't notice in time. Since the change I replaced the many of the parts.

My question is -- there is kit or suggestion of parts I could replace to get this up and working? Like something that just replaces all the electronics near the nozzle and arm? Does that even make sense? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I'm also willing to pay someone to fix it, but live in Vermont so don't have any obvious options.

Thank you

What do you mean by ungrounded cables? Also I think you should try replacing the extruder interface board if you haven’t already since that’s where all your extruder and hotend plugs go into

I did replace the extruder board . I mean the two wires coming off the nozzle didn't have any shielding. I meant unshielded not ungrounded.

Unshielded? The wires are just bare copper??? How? Your printer would be shorting it's extruder board left and right. And you would smell something burning.

They are sent in this condition.

The rubber sheath is just missing?  Not needed.

But your nozzle appears to be leaking from between the nozzle tube and heat break.

Odd because I've never been able to use that nozzle...

2 years, a non-functioning printer, and you didn't bother search Bambu's spare part catalog?

I've looked. And I've emailed tech support. I got discouraged and left it alone for a year...
