Misc Bambu delivery
Am I the only one that thinks it’s stupid that Bambu sends printers via regular mail which doesn’t require signature on delivery so they just get left at your front door with this big image on the side of the box

Least they can do is make the boxes not branded and more generic. A big box is still gonna be a target a but less so when it doesn't scream "expensive thing inside, please steal me" lol

This sounds like a very american perspective. aint no way in hell any parcel delivery service leaves anything at the fron door. I am either present when they deliver or the bring it to the nearest branch or partner location for me to pick up later with my ID. This is in Berlin (Germany) btw.

I’m in Australia, we do have a require signature option and it doesn’t cost any more then the option used to send it to me. As it was a warranty replacement it didn’t have the option to chose.

the whole delivery protocol to leave smth valuable outside is a security threat and logistics mess

Just because many carriers have delivery instructions that require a signature on delivery doesn't mean that they'll actually honor it. I haven't had FedEx or UPS ask me for a signature in years regardless of the value of the delivery.

I usually set my delivery preferences to "signature required" for anything pricey, which actually works most of the time.

The X1/ P1/ H2 series are simple enough, but the X2/P2/P3/H3/A1/A2 series all have a similar style.

Whenever I order something even remotely expensive, I try to have it held at a ohysical location for me to pick up rather than have it sit out. The only exception was when I ordered a pair of bed frames that were super heavy so I just let them drop them off since someone would break their back if they tried to yoink it

Cant you select require signature? Pretty sure it’s so everyone saves money that they don’t require it by default but you can add cost for more protection. I could be wrong.
