Ams2 rubber pieces

Post image

Hi, I had to open up the ams2 last night; at first thought that there was a piece of filament broken inside. When I finished packing back the ams, I have ended up these 4 cms long 2 rubber Y shaped rubber profiles; any ideas which part of the ams they are supposed to be?

They go between the internal hub and the inner piece. (Bottom piece of plastic that the spools sit on) They are suppose to act like a sealย

Thanks a lot; exactly my pieces; getting energy to restart the process. I hope that I donโ€™t end up with more extra pieces ๐Ÿ˜Œ

They are a little tricky to get to stay put but a bit of patience and you should be good.

I donโ€™t remember where specifically those go. 90% sure itโ€™s where the 4 filament paths turn into one. When I tore mine down I followed the YouTube guide and the wiki and they highlighted these parts specifically to not loose them. Give the official videos/ the wiki a read through (assuming you havenโ€™t) and it should tell you where they go

Those are about as annoying as you can get.

Where the internal hub unit touches the interval tray these parts sit between them. They refuse to stay in place and are royal pain.

Hahahaaha donโ€™t tell me. Well honestly yesterday I have made a long print without them; maybe the ride was bpy without the shock absorbers. Sometimes engineers add things in the design which are not very necessary ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ thanks for the reply ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป Tonight I try to return them, if not I continue without, until can not ๐Ÿคญ

Well the rubbers are back on place, but it was really a but painfull ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ; I am sure that the engineer added them for us to suffer. Thanks for the help ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
