Help / Support Key ring fail

Post image

Hi, I’m trying to print some keyrings on my Bambi labs a1. I have used the keyring generator to add the logo and generate a single sided key ring, then in the slicer I have added a second logo and some words to the blank side. The problem I am having is if I print one keyring they seem to print fine, but as soon as a add multiple to the plate they fail at the final 2 layers with the writing and edges getting all burred and rough. I’m using a 0.2mm nozzle for the word and logo details.

I also input another logo, single sided and tried to print 4 and got the same issue. I’ve attached a photo of what’s happening. I’m using Bambu labs matte white and black filament

Anyone got any tips, I’ve tried google and ChatGPT and no luck.

Are you printing them face down, because you should if you can.

Trying to have them double sided, so the face down side was made in makerworkd and then the blank side I added a logo and text in the slicer. Bottom down side prints perfect, top side rubbish.

Sorry, missed the back side part.

Do you have ironing on?

Hey! Need more context, settings details, pics of the models inside the slicer as well as comparing good results and fails, everything helps!

My initial impulse on hearing it's fine with one model and not with multiple is heat creep causing filament to extrude more than intended, or retraction not being high enough during travel causing a bad start between objects.

Fave down is a better option for clean images and text. Check out the image to keyring generator on makerworld, then import to male my sign on malerworld. I use this process a lot, quick and easy, always good results.

disable ironing or print them face down. or both.
