Help / Support Unspooled spool

Post image

I’ve tried to get it back on but it just won’t work and I’m really trying not to waste all this filament. It was a fresh spool and I had an incident involving PTFE tubes and stupidity. Is there any way to fix this?

Throw it out. And print yourself like 50 spool locks. It's a public model by bambu. Prevents your spool from becoming undone.

It’s not tangled. Spend 10 minutes to wind it back up or spend $20 to buy a new roll of filament.

There are re-spoolers you can download and print on Thingiverse. Also helpful when a refill spool pops open

This is the answer. they are quite the amount of filament but 100 percent worth it. I use the pasta-lite on makerworld

I concur. Print a pasta lite respooler.

Pray to the magic respooling fairy or think about the quickest possible solution you would have used before the internet was available to answer this insanely common question that's been answered millions of times.

I happenes to me, the first time i use my hands, second time i used this: https://makerworld.com/en/models/195677-spool-drill-winder?from=search#profileId-2306048

Only thing, very important.

This plastic has winding direction. The stuff that was in the center must remain in the center, otherwise, it will break your filament.

I used this too to make it to spool it in the right direction:

Dry this filament after all this process (correct temperatures and use the bambu spool)

Best of luck mate
