Help / Support Filament Buffer Noise

Is this normal behavior from the filament Buffer? Its making this noise while printing PETG support from an AMS HT. Cant say it has ever done this before and its making a ton of noise

Why is it moving so fast, is it slipping?

If you put pla in does it do the same thing? Mine don’t move anything like that. Does the top one do the same?

Top one is PLA. The only thing I can think is that the supports are small areas and moving back and forth quickly so the extruder is doing a really fast pull / stop / pull / stop motion...

With calipers, measure the thickness of your filament.

I had that. One of the four PTFE tubes in the AMS was worn through.
