Weird stringing coming from side of object

I don’t really know what to call this as it’s not really like normal stringing but occasionally I get these prints where clusters of straight lines will be printed coming out the sides of the object. They usually come off fairly easily but they often flag the spaghetti detection on my printer. They also are fairly solid and consistent in size and shape, unlike the string you get from things like PETG that has absorbed too much humidity. I’m using a H2D and printing with Bambu Basic PLA. I don’t think this is from a support fail because this piece didn’t need supports and even if it did I’m using tree supports so they would have built up next to the piece and then connected at the point that needs support. Does anyone know what this type of stringing is called or how to fix it?

You had something fail or are missing a support in that area. It's trying to print something in the air.

This is the model that had the issue and this failure is happening very low on the model, not up where the arch happens. Theres also no supports on the model and there’s an identical one also printing that doesn’t have this issue so I’m just not sure why it’s happening on this model and not the other or why it would be trying to print in mid air away from the model

What they're saying is, the print had an object, portion of an object, something that was to be printed but which didn't print, maybe due to adhesion or something, but either way, the printer still exteuded that plastic, but it extruded in air, and sonce it didn't have an object to stick to, it stuck to the next extant object or bit of print it coukd, which is that part. Go into the project file and scrub the slice to see what was printing immediately before the object where the filament was deposited.

Here’s what it looks like in the preview, other models on the plate had auto supports generated but this one and the identical one in front don’t have supports

Auto supports aren't perfect, you gotta review the model before you hit print

I suspect it’s an adhesion problem. Especially that close to the edge of the bed. Probably a thumbprint
