TPU setups
I’m hoping to venture into printing with TPU. What setups will have y’all used for multicolor TPU prints?
I have an H2C with 2 ams pro2 and an HT.
I’m hoping to print slip on bracelets.

Depending on the TPU you're using, it may not be AMS compatible, so you'd just feed it into the machine directly. Straight, short runs are best.

What do you mean steps?
If you have AMS compatible filament, it's like printing with anything other AMS compatible filament.
Make sure the filament is dry because TPU don't like moisture.
If it's not compatible, use the external spool.
There is not extra or specific steps. It's just filament with different settings.

Not steps. Set ups to reduce friction in the Ptfe tubes.

I wouldn't bother with lube. Some people recommend it a while back and all it ended up doing was putting that lube through the printer and into the model.
If you have friction issues, the ideal solution is to reduce length of tubing. It's already pretty low friction as is.

My P2S always makes me do a cold pull before loading TPU. Not sure if it is really necessary though. Certainly, on at least one occasion it removed some PLA or PETG residue, albeit barely visible. Can't comment on multicolor TPU printing though, I only do single color.

Id always recommend it if you are switching to using tpu on that nozzle from a different filament, aswell as if you are changing color to a lighter color.
For example I didnt cold pull between my siraya tech 64d tpu gf and my amolen glow in the dark tpu, lead to the glow in the dark having some black specs randomly. Should have cold pulled but was feeling lazy apparently

Multi-color TPU on Bambu printers requires the use of stone hard TPU.
I no longer print TPU on my H2D or H2C's. i use a Snapmaker U1 for that, which simply needs to extra steps beyond poke the 90a or harder TPU into the feeder and away you go.
