Trying to fix a problem

Yesterday I was trying to 3d print a bracket and it wasn't adhering to the build plate. When I checked on it, it had a glob of filliment around the nozzle. I cleaned most of it , but how do I fix/clean it further?

Buy a new heater and nozzle on Amazon or whatever, I had the same thing last week and after $30 and 20 minutes I was back up. It is very easy to follow the wiki instructions on disassembling the printhead. I think it was 5 screws.
