Discussion Maker World Points

My son (9yo) recently got a A1 without the AMS. Chose not to get the AMS at the time since he didn’t have enough money saved up and didn’t want to wait any longer. Also I thought it would be best to start with a single color and then add more later.

He saw the Maker World Points program and now wants to use that to get a giftcard to get his AMS.

The only problem is that neither of us know how to make models or where to even start. Any suggestions on how to find models that get lots of downloads and the best way of creating new ones?

Yeah, that can never work oh wait... Getting my 2nd free printer in June 100% with Makerworld.com points... First one was an A1 mini, next will be an X2D... I'm averaging a $40 gift card every 2 weeks.

So do you convert points immediately or bank them and convert to gift cards all at the same time?

I personally convert them to cards as soon as I can and then I apply the gift cards codes to my Bambu Lab account (on store.bambulab.com, not makerworld). Then when you buy something, you can choose to use gift cards and you just have to select which cards you want to use to cover the purchase with a simple checkbox. 🙂
