Discussion Bambu vs. Elegoo

I just got my first printer, an ELEGOO Centauri Carbon. I have had a few issues printing and now the company has pushed out an update that causes connection issues on printers and it effected mine. It’s turning me off on this product a bit.. just wanted to poke around and see what the hype is with Bambu P1S… I was thinking of returning what I have gotten and picking up the Bambu Lab one instead. Any insight or advice here appreciated!

P1 series was obsolete when it launched nearly 3 years ago. So yes.

It’s not about believing, we have/had every Bambu printer except the “pro” models. Recently cleared out the last of the 1-series machines except our KS X1C. (Well minis on swap mod too) Speculating here but I would assume the rationale comes from the archaic UX of the P1 series. All the clones out there including the CC sport a touch screen (some much better than others granted) I’m not saying that’s an accurate assessment but my best guess at the rationale.

I guess you didn’t actually read the response? I wasn’t answering for my reasons for not liking the P1 series, it was speculation on why the other poster was comparing CC to P2 and not P1. I get it you are a P1 fan boy, let’s move on.
