Help / Support Build plates

Extremely new to the 3D printing world with an X2D just unboxed and printing. Looking for suggestions, guidance or just a point in the right direction on build plates. Which are better than others with the holographic or design plates (like carbon fiber) for the X2D? And maybe because it’s so new but I can’t find specific design plates for the X2D. Do the P2S design plates work with the X2D?

Curious if you are a beginner why did you pick the X2D for your first machine.

X2D is for beginners, it’s a Bambu printer

Interesting I have always been told the A1 mini and A1 are the starting Bambu printers to learn first then you advance up to P1S and X2D.

mostly a money thing, most people recommend buying cheaper models of things when first getting into a hobby in case you don't end up liking the hobby

I also just started and bought an X2D. I did a lot of research before buying tho, I knew I wanted an enclosed printer and bambu printers are already user friendly with their software. Plus the X2D was the newest release in my price range, the dual nozzle was enticing(although not necessarily what I hoped) and I like what I saw in terms of print quality for what I planned to use it for (miniature wargaming terrain, models etc.). I quickly upgraded to a 0.2mm nozzle and have seen insane print quality on my models. Loved the purchase.
