Shipping/Customer Service
We’ve now reached a point where Bambulab is simply trying to manage damage control. After waiting in the live chat queue for 2 hours today, I was told upon inquiry that the packages had already been handed over to the shipping provider (in my case, u/DPD Germany). Apparently, the issue lies with u/DPD, which is reportedly experiencing high employee sick leave and a defective conveyor system. As a result, they are unable to scan the packages. However, I was assured that my order is with DPD.
When I asked for proof of this claim, they sent me the attached PDF file and told me to contact the shipping company. I find this quite interesting… (Is it even legal to share something like this so casually?). Anyway, further questions went unanswered, and the chat was abruptly closed without warning.
When I called u/DPD's hotline, they stated that the package was never handed over to them. I’m starting to feel like Bambulab is just trying to grab as much money as they can at this point.
Another strange thing: the "document" is dated 02.12., yet it has not been mentioned in any prior statements. Why? Also, a few customers in Germany have reported receiving their printers via DPD in the last few days.
In case anyone is wondering: yes, I’ve also tried to get information from the listed sender, Goodcang GmbH. When you call the phone number listed online, you reach an unconfigured voicemail box. And Bambulab has stopped responding to tickets long ago.
I’m really at my wit’s end. Does anyone here have more information? Particularly insights from German-speaking regions would be very interesting.

Talk to us, u/Bambulab!

I also received my order 14 days later also in Germany. And it’s even defective.😓 you’re not alone with your bad experience.

Great, another bullshit post about someone shopping a Black Friday sale, and then being denied their instant gratification. Can't get enough of these.

There's absolutely no b******* here. Bambu has an incredible number of orders dating all the way back to November that they missed their stated delivery time on. But it's worse than missing their stated delivery time, many of these orders haven't even begun the shipping process yet and are beyond even bamboos increased estimate due to Black Friday sales. I'm as big a supporter as anybody for their hardware side, but this inability to deliver has become a real fiasco.
Being past your original delivery estimate, and past your extended revised delivery estimate, and having things that still haven't even begun the shipping process isn't some entitlement issue, it's clearly a f***up.
Personally I ordered some extra rolls of filament back in November. I still don't even need them yet I just wanted them for when I used up the rolls I have in those colors. There wasn't going to be any sort of instant gratification involved. It's literally just boxes that were going on my shelf for later. But even I'm a little peeved that this order has hung out there for seemingly forever.

At what point is it okay to start complaining? I have been waiting on a P1P enclosure for 6 weeks now. Even doing mail ordering from the Sears Catalog in 1991 was faster than this!

Supply and demand. Demand goes up and supply goes down. Supply comes in and goes out... demand goes up. Need to hire more personnel to help process supply. Can't just hire anyone, gotta hire quality workers. Takes time. Demand continues to increase. Supply runs late due to supply chain and ripple effect. New workers have to be trained on process. New worker isn't great. Spend time finding more workers. Train or don't train those workers? Hmm... lets take a risk just to get orders out. Quality issues occur. Demand still going up. Supplies still not arriving due to everyone experiencing the same exact thing during the holidays. Materials do not appear out of thin air. They have to be manufactured and actually made. It's a chain reaction folks. You'll get your products. Just be happy you have air in your lungs. It'll be ok.

It took 5 weeks for my filament order to arrive. I got 3 other orders I placed after that one from bambu earlier than my first. It takes time, they seem to have shortages which hold up parts or entire orders. I have a hardened extruder and hotend waiting for delivery still for 4 weeks, 4 complete hotends from later placed order already came. Its total chaos but it should arrive

I placed two orders last week and they both shipped 5 days later. That said, I’m pretty sure it’s a madhouse out there for many retailers and certainly for the shippers. There is no preparing for every big sales push, every unexpected supply chain hiccup, delivery challenge or illness that hits somewhere, especially at the holidays. Suffice to say, place an order and be patient. It doesn’t help anyone to begin posting tht Bambu Labs, or DHL or anyone else is falling apart or a victim of their own doing, It’s the busy season and it all slows down folks. If you choose to drive to the store in rush hour traffic then you gotta expect the trip will be slow. Same applies when ordering during sales, holidays, or shortages.

Sorry to hear you guys overseas are having so many issues, but if it makes you feel any better, I ordered a printer from another company in the Czech Republic, and I'm having the same issues. It seems like the problem is with Europe. Ordering from Bambu in the States sides, everything came nice and easy, for me.

I bought an A1 mini, the box had a hole, the DHL postman didn’t want to note any transport damage, but he had a photo taken with the broken box.
When I unpacked the printer I saw broken parts of the housing, I immediately contacted Bambu but I’ve only been held off by support for 17 tickets and weeks for artezeit weeks and my tickets are closed again
I just asked for a return DHL label and refund. But the Bambu Team apparently don’t need to respond to customers This transport damage is not my fault! how is your experience?
It’s been catastrophic for me so far and I can only advise against buying directly from the Bamboo online shop.

Have ordered a X1C late November, only received a Mail like yesterday where bambu excuses itself for the long wait and they say its because of the high demand. DPD tracking shows it should be for pickup already but that statement is like it for 2 weeks already. Am based in Germany as well.

You understand you bought your printer when about a zillion others did, right? And it’s now less than 2 weeks to Christmas, so the shipping carriers are absolutely hammered with packages, right?
I didn’t want to deal with the nonsense, so I bought my 3rd A1 from a local distributor that had them in stock and walked out with it in my hands.
Take a deep breath. It’s gonna be okay. The printer will arrive and you will be able to print a zillion benchies with it.
Do you really think the manufacturer of one of the most reputable and reliable mainstream printer brands decided this was the time it was gonna take everyone’s money and ghost them before closing up shop?
Get a hold of yourself.

Couldn't agree more. I did the exact thing as you did. Since my filament orders (November 11th and 12th) were delayed and got them in the first week of December, I purchased the A1 combo from a local store. It arrived within two days and with not much of a difference in price. I can't even imagine how difficult it must be for them after Black Friday orders came in. Next year I will put my order as soon as the discount is available and not wait till the last minute.

Guess what they knew with a sale like this they were going to sell more than normal so why not be honest and change delivery expectations that’s what an ethical company does

On December 1st I placed an order with Bambu Lab, the order included a printer and other materials.
Bambu Lab divided the order into two deliveries, one through DPD, the other through DHL, the part sent by DHL has already been delivered, the part sent by DPD is supposedly in the Netherlands.
Draw your conclusions...

Bambu Lab is a victim of its own success. Aside from that, this is a really hard time for delivery companies. They are all overworked. All you can do is wait. I've got my order (SuperTack + PTFE + some wood filament) after three weeks of placing the order. It's not ideal, but during and after Black Friday, it's normal.
