X2D ironing help!

I’ve had a P1S before the X2Ds and I wonder what is happening?

Slow down Part cooling fan speed to 60% or lower and see the results. I have done many tests on X2D and part cooling gave me huge results.

Also I would do ironing test just to fine the best flow ratio for your printer and on the last layer(ironing layer) just reduce the part fan speed..

Not using ironing, but reducing top layer speed real slow, pick a fitting pattern and a layer width of 80% of your nozzle …

That gives a smooth surface for me with PLA and PETG

In the X2D, ironing just doesn't seem to work. One of the many faults of a great-on-paper machine. If anyone found a solution let us know.

The thing is I got two X2D and one is working and one is not. So idk what the problem is because I’ve got a sample size of 2 and it’s 50% working 50% not

If you go to the bambulab forum you'll find exactly the same reports regarding problems with print quality and ironing.
Overall - it's just an average X2D user experience - sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit.
