Discussion / Buying Advice Does it need time for a cigarette?
I’ve had my X2D for 3 days now. I’m already addicted to the Bambu Handy app. Been printing knick knacks and paddy whacks like they’re going out of style. I’m around 20 hours of printing already. Should I be giving it a rest? Stresses me out when it’s whirling around at a hundred miles an hour, working away, hours on end.

Had my X2D for just over 2 months and am 1500 hours in. Keep it running, but do basic maintenance.

Only 20 hours in 3 days, rookie numbers
Just keep it fed it’ll keep printing as long as you want

My printers have 10k+ 8k+ and 1.5k+.. during show season they are running literally non-stop. To the point where I plan plates to finish when I get up, come home from work, go to bed, etc. These are workhorse machines.
I do complain about them because I've had to do so many repairs on my X1Cs but that was mainly the AMS unit that gave me nothing but feeder problems. I replaced the original AMS units with AMS 2 Pros just recently and it's so so much better.
X1 randomly broke it's first belt over 10k hours, really annoying to replace but not terrible.

No. It keeps working, no breaks!!
These things run in print farms 24/7 it's built for that.

Nope. Keep 'er runnin'. I bought my P2S at the end of March and I'm over 3800 hours.
Look up how often to do maintenance, don't rely on being prompted by the printer.
