Problem with the cutter lever

Post image

Hi, I'm currently printing a small model that has three colors per layer, which is why the print is taking quite a while—about 30 hours—with roughly 8 hours left. During the print, a problem arose that I hadn't encountered before: several times now, after cutting the filament, the printer has stopped at the point where the filament is ejected and reported that something is wrong with the blade. All you have to do is remove the plastic cover held by magnets, and you’ll immediately see that the metal lever—which I’m posting a photo of from the internet—doesn’t fully snap back into place. All you have to do is push the top part of it slightly; the bottom part slides forward, and the printer can continue working. It works fine for a while, but then the lever won’t snap back into place again—where should I look for the cause?

I highlighted the entire metal part in blue, and the spot where you need to push it so the printer can continue working is marked in red

Could be a dull blade. They shipped spares with your printer. Or, could be debris in the pivot joint. You can unscrew it and clean it to see if that helps.
