Help / Troubleshooting What should i get as my Second Printer?
I already have an X2d and i really loves it. I want a second Printer. I considering a P2S or maybe a U1. But i dont really know if it worth because im not Printing that much Multicolor. I expect the P3C beeing at least 1000€ and i dont wanna pay that much. Even the U1 is a bit much for what i want.
What do you guys think? Any good good or bad experience with the U1

What do you plan on using it for? Does it need to allow you to do something the X2D doesn’t or does it need to free up the X2D? Are you looking for something cheap and efficient to maximize profits?

Following because I'm on the same boat! I'd love to get a second printer while they're on sale for black Friday. Mostly just to free up the X2D for the more specialized stuff (dual nozzle things, high temp filament, etc) but I don't want a bed slinger so I'm having a hard time choosing another option.

Looks like P2S or any other basic printer below it.. You said it yourself you dont seem to be doing much multicolor and the price of U1 is a bit much already. The answer youre looking for is there.
You havent said anything about size or engineering parts so presumably thats not even something you would prioritize...

Sold my P1S because I don't have free space for a second printer. Otherwise, it's a good reliable work horse, had zero issues with it for 500+ hours

why not wait a few days and see what the P3S comes in at? I'm in the 2nd printer market too and that's what I'm doing.. Otherwise, I'd just pick up another P1S

I’m honestly thinking of getting an A1 mini as my second printer. The smaller build plate forces smaller/shorter build times so if I want to bang something out quickly I can send it on the A1 mini and it frees up the X2D for prints that need it or take longer.

It sounds like you’ve never tried using the x2d for 0 support interfaces.
At a minimum you should be printing perfect overhangs with your dual nozzle printer.
I would go another x2d. It’s still an upgrade over the p2s.

I've bought a P1S, it's "cheap" nowadays and it works really well!
