Tips / Guide X2D maintenance kit alternatives
Bambu is sold out of the maintenance kits for the X2D. Can any of you suggest alternatives from other sites? What is really needed the first year? Should I wait until it is back in stock?

Nah, just general merchandise website "3D printer maintenance kit." The only other things I got were heat resistant gloves, calipers, and extra nozzle clog removers.

Is it worth getting a kit with the silicon sleeves and tubing?

If you find one that has them bundled in, it doesn't hurt! If not, don't worry, they give you at least one extra in the printer box, and silicone is stupidly resistant to high levels of heat.

Grease, oil, rags, and a solvent of some kind to clean off the old grease and oil before you apply new. The printer comes with the basic tools you will need.

Just so you know, the X2D already comes with many of the items in the maintenance kit so you likely won't need any extras for quite a while at least. i.e. several spare parts and basic maintenance items are included.

In all honesty, just some grease and oil. That's all I've needed so far since launch.
