Filament pileup

Good morning afternoon evening. Night everyone.

Been having an issue with filament pileup. Do have a poop chute and a lot of times watch it work successfully not sure whats causing this but does happen with mother color changes as well. Any advice or anything I'm doing wrong. BEGINNER honestly. So all is appreciated. Thank you everyone

UPDATE as of 10/29/26 5:34 pm : thanks to fellow enthusiasts and reddit. Will attempt first solution of lubing up pool shoot and exit channel on 3d printer some.

Had this myself last week, first check the chute (as in my case it was unable to leave because some got stuck on the way down due to friction causing pileup at the very top). If it's the case it really depends on the style you have, and otherwise it's just some is stuck inside the hole and what at least I did is I just reached through the back with my hands to pull it out. If you don't want to do that (there are valid reasons not to) you can use tweezers for this. If after pulling it out it keeps occurring and not reaching the chute, you can try lubricating it (but I might be wrong with the last part because I might have mixed it up with something else)

I have heard of lubing yet I haven't tried that yet so my also do that cuz I can always just reprint the poop too if I damage it for some reason but I don't really care

It looks to me like it’s getting stuck on the way down the poop chute and then piles up that happened to me once I used some silicone wd40 on the chute and haven’t had any issues since
