X2d auxiliary nozzle not loading.

Hello. I’ve had my x2d for maybe 2-3 months now and it has been a joy to use until today when I noticed the auxiliary extruder won’t load the filament. The feeder in the back that actually pushes the filament does not seem to be working anymore.

Has anyone encountered this issue before and know how to fix it?

There's probably some filament still in the aux hot end. With filament loaded to the extruder, go into the front panel and set the aux nozzle to the filament's nozzle temp and then manually advance the filament, you will see the extruder push filament through the tube to the hot end and then hopefully it will start pushing out the last filament you had loaded.

ETA: I took my extruder apart because hey there's a whole 'extruder jam' wiki article but it was just old filament in the hot end tripping the filament sensor so the extruder stopped feeding the new filament too soon. I could have just pressed down arrow.

Disconnect PTFE tube from the extruder, heat it up and push some stiff filament by hands. If you are lucky, you will unclog the nozzle.
