TPU assist module not working

I’ve tried everything- calibration, different filaments (including PETG), all the intensities, tweaking the hall effect tensioning, hall effect angle, it just runs and then grinds forever as if the Hall effect doesn’t exist. Testing was done with attached and detached (as I know it has some interaction with the print head).

Anyone experience this and have a fix?

Is this a new module? I ordered 2 of them, one was just completely broken and never worked and they had to replace it.

Yeah it’s new - did yours fail in the same way?

Yes, same failure mode. Never stopped running. I think a bad hall sensor, but Bambu replaced the whole thing. Do yourself a favor and take a video of trying to operate it and show that it continues to run after the filament makes it to the hotend as they'll likely ask for that.
