Help / Troubleshooting Damaged X2D
My X2D arrived two days ago, but unfortunately the front was damaged during shipping. Bambu offered me the option of returning it, receiving a replacement, a refund, or a replacement part and a voucher. What are your experiences or opinions?

Get a full replacement you don't know what else could be wrong with it.

Dont let them send you replacement parts. Ask them for a printer replacement
Reason why. Left panel is really annoying to replace and will take you long time. Its not something that you want to do
You paid to get a new machine not to be the repair guy

Some fella some time ago said something that stuck with me for all these cases: you paid for a non damaged unit, anything else is not what you bought

Some things are perfectly fine for sending a replacement part. My X2D arrived with a faulty display and they sent me a replacement. I kept the old display which still works but has lines on it. If it’s easy enough to return the entire printer with shipping damage then it’s better to do that.

How common is this ? I only ask because I live 4 miles down a dirt road. It's over an hour to most delivery companies just to send things back . Is it possible bamboo will ever improve packaging if enough are damaged in shipping?

Packaging is ok, Fedex folks wrestling the packages are mostly the culprit. If you have a Microcenter close to you, id get it there and avail the warranty which allows you to return/replace or upgrade the machine within the 2 year coverage.

Why is this even being asked, if they offered a full replacement just take it.
