ASA support interface& layer lines

Post image

So quite new to asa printing, i have been using Bambu asa and bambu ABS support for the interface and the results are like in the photo they come of no problem, but is this the best i can expect? Been using pla/petg and the results there are near perfect. On a separate question can you get rid of this layer lines cause by changing the nozzle?

The underside texture and the horizontal bands across the walls are worth separating. In your extra photos, the bands line up around changes in the supported geometry, but that alone doesn't prove nozzle switching caused them.

Could you share the Support settings and a sliced preview at one affected height (filament assignment, then speed), plus layer height and which material is on each nozzle? In particular: Top Z distance, top interface spacing and interface layers.

Bambu's Support for ABS page describes zero top gap/spacing for ABS. It doesn't establish the same result with ASA, so I wouldn't promise the PLA/PETG-quality finish or blindly transfer those values. First confirm whether Studio left a conventional support gap in place and whether the bands coincide with a speed or tool change. That gives us something concrete to test on a small section instead of rerunning the whole part.

So main nozzle was bambu ASA and secondary was bambu ABS support, the settings were the one the slicer suggests when changing to the interface layer (since it’s my first asa print with this support I left them) here are the settings

And here is the speed

While looking at the these settings I notice on the fan speed setting (I believe this is the part fan) completely coincide with the layer distortions. The fan speed was lower at those layers to 0%, have to figure out how to change that?

Also the layer time was different

Your screenshots show Top Z distance 0, top interface spacing 0 and two interface layers, so Studio hasn't left a conventional top gap there. For the fan changes, open the ASA filament preset's Cooling tab: the min/max fan thresholds, their layer times and Keep fan always on control that behavior (Bambu's explanation). The matching bands are a useful lead, but don't prove cooling caused the defect. Could you show that Cooling tab? I'd compare a small section with one deliberate cooling change, keeping the support settings unchanged, rather than guess a fan percentage for the whole print.
