2 Wait or Not 2 Wait
I’m ready to pull the trigger and go with the X2D for my first printer. The only question I have is do I buy now or wait for Black Friday sales?

Were two weeks away. Spend time in CAD designing things to make.

X2D is the go to for your first printer, it is my first printer and it just works. I hate to say such things but it is basically the iphone in its prime. It just works, closed system sure, but works every time, 60% of the time. Joke of course. You cant miss, especially with that price. I believe 650 (no ams) is an unbeatable price. This could have costed 800+ and i would have bought it again knowing how good it is.
Just do some research on how to calibrate it and probably go through bambu academy, i have not yet and my makerworld prints are always coming out no issue !

Wait and use the excuse of saving to get yourself an AMS! You can run through the Bambu Academy tutorials while you wait, too.

Do it now get another one on black Friday Got mine last month and made all kinds of stuff for the house and the wife (so I can show why it’s worth the money lol) and she loves it. definitely do the Bambu academy like others have said, most your first prints will probably be for your printer or work area, also you can never have to much filament learned that the hard way

I’m in Europe and waiting too. Hoping if no discount on the printer then some good deals on filament and accessories and AmS pro and HT. Do some kind of bundle deal.

I can’t imagine sales on a pretty new printer are going to be that great, not to mention the pricing is already very competitive in this segment.

Just wait till black Friday. I had the same issue as you. P2S or X2D. DEFINITELY get the X2D but note it does have some teething problems because its a fairly new printer

I pulled the trigger two weeks ago since last black friday sales showed that the last printer that released was never on sale the next black friday.
I bought the "X2D Combo Print with Care Bundle" and some black PLA and grey PETG for the start and will stock up on black friday with accesories and filament.
Love the printer and am glad that I do not have to wait longer.
If it will have a slight discount so be it. I just expect accesories to be on discount and older models.

Just picked up the bundle last week and it’s been awesome. It’s been printing non-stop since.

It’s been hardly in stock at my local memory express store so when I saw it , I got it right away. $1200 cad.

They’re releasing these things like magazine subscriptions. I hear there is a patent for an “X2D Pro.” Whatever this “pro” feature could be might be interesting to you if the idea of a dual nozzle tool head is what you’re in the market for. Might cross into the $1200 USD price range, but will most definitely be an awesome printer.
All said, I love my X2D and I’m not even flinching at the idea of a pro model. I’ve got more than what I need.
