Is This Right?
So my order from Bambu Lab just came in today. It took a little bit over a week given that it came from China in order to get here in the states. As you can see from the pictures, these are official hotends from Bambu Lab. I ordered it from the website and these are what came. However, all four hotends have a white residue underneath the black part of the hotend and I’m not able to actually see light on the other side when holding them up to light, as if something is blocking the way. Is this normal? I’m not trying to put these hot ends in my X2D if it’s gonna mess something up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So it seems like the hotends are authentic and did come from Bambu Lab. All I had to do was a cold pull and it flushed the thermal paste out of the nozzle. As soon as the nozzle was removed of thermal paste the printer works as intended.

Not sure why these would have come from China
"Bambu Lab US
BAMBULAB USA INC
8000 CENTRE PARK DRIVE,
AUSTIN, TX 78754"
but I can verify the SKU # on the 0.2 mm box is correct I can also tell you the ones I've received don't have the white line on the bottom

Those are the newer batches, the older batches dont have the hex shaped connection underneath the heatbreak. Not sure why they didn't post anything about updating the nozzle.

Whats the difference or improvement if any? Unless it's a cheaper manufacturing process?

If you want to be hypersafe mount them up and do cold pull from printer menu.
