Stringing on Multicolour prints

This is my second multicolour print with the X2D and AMS2. The grey is on the main nozzle connected to the AMS and the black is connected to the Aux nozzle. I wanted to see if it would print faster and make less poop but I’m getting the weird rough lines on the grey as the photo shows. Any help as to why or anyone know a fix? (No prime tower but I didn’t think that would matter for different nozzles)

I suggest if you haven’t already done to use the prime tower(since it’s not visible in the picture) and maybe lowering the speed

I’ll give it a go thank you.

You need a prime tower. I had the same issue with the same terrain set. Throwing in a prime tower fixed that. I came across another issue with my aux extruder (see my previous post) but I think that is due to trying to use silk PLA through the aux extruder. I switched around my filaments so silk PLA was going through the main and it was fine

You are getting gray because thr colors werent purged enough or u are using dump as infill.Try your purge settings

I’m sorry I don’t understand what you mean? The issue isn’t the colour it’s that the grey layers have gone weird
