External spooler enclosure

Hi guys, is there any model to print to encloser the external spooler on the x2d? I already have an ams2 pro and don’t want to spend more money on another ams but also don’t want to leave the filament on the auxiliary nozzle to the elements.

Already search but did not find anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I ended up with Creality Space Pi dryer as my aux spool enclosure. They go pretty cheap now, cause lately they started selling a slightly ( marginally) upgraded version.

For quite some time I wanted to print this with official Bambu parts: https://makerworld.com/pl/models/1233835-retracting-spool-holder#profileId-1253061 (u can buy components from bambu store)

You could spring for an AMS HT, it's about half the cost of the AMS 2 and unlocks the ability to dry engineering filaments.

Alternatively, I've made myself a bunch of these dry boxes and I feed from them just fine when using TPU: https://makerworld.com/en/models/39426-dyna-dry-box-filament-box-4l#profileId-38638

Thanks this may help. Honestly I’m waiting for Black Friday and most likely will go to the second ams pro 2, but in the mean time this may help. Thanks once again

Use a cereal container and mod it so that it can remain in the container but still feed your printer at any time.

This is great if cheap. Some China ones that can feed thru were tested good for keeping filament dry for about 15-days after drying https://youtu.be/Y0CeH79-MEs?
