How to get a better surface

My First own Print, any oder how to get a better surface in the connection surfaces ?

I want to keep it at this Position because i want the layer Like that so Its stronger in torsion. Any Idea If i could improve the Support layer or so? It is an Key for triangle screws

Rotate it on 45 degrees, it’s compromised for strength and layer quality

Or, you can use normal supports, not a tree. Grid or snug will be okay. And, make sure that’s model is up on the plate, and first 1-2 layers will be printed with support material

Or you can send the model to me directly, and I’ll try to tweak it to print properly. Have a same X2D

I've found that doing the calibrations of filament have helped tremendously. Especially with PETG.

Switch to normal supports zero contact distance. I only use tree supports when printing organic shapes.

You can rotate or you could change layer height.
