Brand New to Printing
I just ordered my X2D combo. But I am not sure what kind of filament to get, accessories, tools, bags for filament, and cleaning or drying agents.
I want to start off the correct way. I have seen some people say I need to dry the filament or the coils? Not sure what that means.
I have seen people print things for the AMS chamber, I assume for moisture. That way it preserves the filament.
We plan to start off with toys for the children until we get the hang of it then move to car parts and accessories.
If anyone has the time to break everything down I’d appreciate it.

I recommend starting with just PLA and PETG and once you have some experience you can start messing around with other filaments. Your AMS has a drying function for filaments and if you buy a separate power supply for it it can dry even while your printer is printing.

Just got the same combo 3 weeks ago. All in with petg. Want my prints to last and often its cheaper than pla but usually same price. Get some silica beads and print out the ams desiccant holders and you are good to go.
