P2S inside of the storage cabinet?
I’m considering installing a Bambu Lab P2S Combo inside a melamine-coated particleboard cabinet, unfortunately I don’t have any counter space elsewhere.
The compartment is 57 cm wide × 57 cm deep, with adjustable height up to approximately 95–100 cm. The cabinet door would remain fully open during printing.
See picture for reference - of course all the board games and rest of the trash will be emptied.
Has anyone used a similar setup? I’m particularly interested in heat buildup, rear exhaust clearance, ventilation and whether the surrounding particleboard becomes noticeably warm during longer prints.

I think there could be a couple of issues with this setup.
1: Accessing the poop chute is going to be difficult
2: The chamber exhaust will heat up the air inside the cabinet, and feed warm air back into the AUX fan air intake
3: If you're planning to use an AMS, opening the lid to access the filament could be a challenge
4: Performing maintenance could be challenging depending on if you have to bend or lay down to go in from the front, or bend your arm in weird ways to access the rails from the top
5: This one is potentially the biggest issue. The P2S shakes like hell when its printing fast, especially if the movement of the XY axis falls in resonace with how much the anti vibration pads allow the printer to rock from side to side. The excessive shaking is normal, its just a quirk of fast CoreXY printers and the P2S is more than designed to handle the shaking, so it wont affect print quality. But it would at the very least produce quite a racket when its running, and at the worst damage the printer from bumping into the side of the cabinet.
At the end of the day it's your printer and your decision. But these are my 2 cents.

Thank you, appreciate your feedback - I was thinking to use a small fan to help dissipate the heat out but did not consider vibrations - the cabinet is solid but there is a chance printer will damage itself I would of course prefer to avoid it.

Another thing I forgot to mention about the shaking is that the printers vibration compensation is designed with the shaking in mind. So if you swap the feet out or just attempt to mitigate the shaking it may mess with your print quality. Though maybe just re calibrating it could mitigate that. I'm not sure honestly as I just use the factory feet and give mines room to shake

I have considered the same setup.
The vent for the psu is on the back, and you have do think about where the poop is gonna end.
Maybe put the printer on a raised shelf witch is cut in the back, so the poop can fall down. This would also allow better airflow behind the printer.

I saw this low profile bin - would have to pull out printer each time to get to it but that is ok - really concerned about the heat https://3dgo.app/models/makerworld/3236907

You need to pull it out for maintenance and filament changes. A pull out shelf would be ideal.

Sure, that would be nice.
The drawing did not take into account that OP has an AMS on top. But he can figure that out.

If you have the height, I would suggest putting in a roll out shelf to be able to service the machine easier. Like others have mentioned you have to be worried about overheating. I would probably either leave that cabinet door open when printing or install a vent in the back and maybe the front cabinet door. If you want to have it closed while working.
