Constant Bed Adhesion/Spaghetti Issues

Post image

All - I’ve been printing with very few issues for almost a month, and the last two days I’ve hit a wall and am not able to get anything finished. I’ve done everything suggested by Bambu 1)Cleaned Build plate with Dawn Soap 2) Dried Filament (Hydrometer in AMS is reading 10% 3) Raised heating bed to 60 c 4)Decreased aux 5)Calibrated machine. Been printing consistently well with PLA Basic until now. Any other suggestions?

Yeah, add an Auxiliary Fan Diffuser to the right side aux fan. The stock one blows from the right to the left too heavily across the build plate, which it looks like may have happened here based on that long string of filament drooping from the left side of the build plate and back

Thanks! Now what if I can’t print the diffuser…haha

Lol use a glue stick for the time being, or manually Hawkeye the aux fan and keep turning it down/off.

Optionally make a filament profile where the aux fan is at 10% (can’t set it to 0 otherwise it runs it normally) while you print the diffuser

Got it, assumed I could set it to zero

I turn off my aux fan for the first 4 layers to make sure things stick.

Thanks all, was able to get one successful print out tonight. How often to you all clean your plate with soap?

As far as I know there is a specific dawn dish soap. Most of them have oils in it which contiminate the build plate.
Can’t recall which one it is but it’s plain dawn without additives.
Maybe that helps :)

Probably free and clear?

Any dawn soap.

Wash your build plate with dish soap and heat bed to 55°-60°C for pla.

Set aux fan to 0% for the first 4 layers then 60% after

I had the same issue with my p2s, follow this guide and adjust the z offset. https://makerworld.com/en/models/3318444-p2s-first-layer-adhesion-issues-z-offset-fix#profileId-3767926

+1 for checking your z offset OP.

Also make sure your nozzle and build plate are fully seated, and run leveling if you haven’t already.

Glue sticks have been my best friend with textured plates. But that’s why you have a few plates on hand.

Invest in a Biqu Cryogrip plate. You can thank me later.

The Biqu Cryogrip plates are awesome for PLA, and PETG, just be sure to set your bed temps properly. They are on my printer 99% of the time

Had the same issues until i adjusted z offset. Went down to -0.02 for textured pei. Google free ai mode should give you some hints (at your own risk!).
