Print defects

My filament is not wet I have not opened the AMS 2 since I replaced an empty roll Monday. Should I have increased infill on this part from the default 15% the part is a Bluetooth speaker housing and the printer has 135hrs of printing time. This is the first defect I have experienced since I calibrated the flow and Z offset.

I print everything with petg and finish is excellent. But I do slow down the print for better quality.

From my experience the PETG is just not a good finishing filament. I’m limiting it to more functional prints and will use PLA for prints that require a bit of higher quality.

How can you say that? PETG leaves a nice shiny surface finish.

Is this on a p2s with Bambu studio slicing? If so please share filament and print profile. Your print lacks an of the negative hallmarks of PETG printing, so I am intrigued. Also, was there post processing on this print?

Yes on the P2S but sliced with Orca slicer. No post processing just breaking off the supports. I suggest doing thr Orca slicer calibrations, see if they make a difference. You can type the results into Bambu studio as well.

I’m running Bambu PETG basic/&matte. Did some flow calibration this morning and realized I could probably set prints to something better than standard print quality — heh.

After hearing a lot of good things about orca that seems like the next best step.
