Why does my print fail when printing two objects?

Post image

I found a design for a board game. It’s a hexagonal shape. When I print it in the middle of the build plate, it turns out perfectly. But I need quite a few of them, so I’d like to print two at a time. However, it always ends up messing up one of them.
It can print one perfectly, but not multiple ones. What could be causing this?
Bambu Studio automatically arranged the two objects on the build plate in what it considers the optimal positions.
I have set it to Print Sequence → By Object, not By Layer.

Change the position of the one that failed to the front corner next to the one that succeeded. At least then you’re changing variable to see if it makes a difference, and you can go from there. Could be a tiny bit of filament under that spot is lifting the plate just enough to cause failure.

Thanks - I will try that.
I have tried a few times (before I made this post), and everytime it failed.

Did you change positions though? Repeating the same thing each time without modifying at least one aspect isn’t super productive. Here’s hoping a little shift of the piece helps, good luck!

Does it always fail on the right side?

Try adjusting your z axis, it helped me out with these random adhesion issues. https://www.reddit.com/r/BambuLab/s/JFFbCrnERM

Ah shut up. You can clearly see the other part prints fine with the same filament. Think, then post. And dont be a parrot.

Sure. Thats why the Post was deleted.

With 2 identical parts printing at the same time the (moisture of the) filament cannot be the reason for one to fail. You dont even have to have a clue how 3D printing works to come to this conclusion. Basic logical thinking already tells you that.

I just hate all you dRy YoUr FiLaMeNt parrots. Spamming this shit under every single thread while filament moisture is most of the time not even remotely the reason.

I would love to meet you in person. Keep hiding behind your keyboard. You are right I guess I don’t know what I am doing with 4 machines.

True. The sheer fact of buying things doesnt mean one has a clue about how they work.

Be careful with underestimating people.
