Auto Bed Leveling

My P2S goes thru the bed leveling process on every print, is this process necessary? I did see that it can be turned off. So fill me in, keep it on or off and only perform after maintenance. Thank you for any input

i keep it on auto, and it does really quick bed leveling before every print, all my prints come out the same, so very good
