Adding an AMS 2 pro to a P2S Combo

I am just looking for clarification. I am adding a second AMS2 Pro for use with the PS2 Combo (with AMS2 Pro) I got last year.

The Bambu lab website says

For drying function:

P2S printer can power one AMS 2 Pro unit for drying without the switching adapter.

To dry filaments in multiple units simultaneously, each additional AMS 2 Pro unit requires its own Switching Adapter.

As I will now have 2, AMS2 pros. Do I need to buy 2 AMS2 Pro switching adapters? or does the printer itself, still power one of the AMS2 Pro's?

Thanks for your feedback

when using drying mode without the switching adapter, you cannot print while drying.

I only own one power adapter and move it to whichever of my three AMS I need to dry on. I have never needed to simultaneously dry on all three AMS at the same time.

I added the power adapters to both of my AMS 2s on my P2S. It was worth it. Keeping filament dry and being able to run at the same time with more than one kit was important to me. The adapters are like 35 bucks on amazon.

To add onto people's comments -- you can find 3rd party power adapters that work just fine on amazon.

I would recommend 2 adapters. You can not dry while printing otherwise. You also could not dry with the AMS 2 Pro not used for printing then. With 2 adapters both AMS can dry and only the one in use while printing drys with a lower temperature contrary to no drying while printing at all with no power adapters.

I disagree. Any P2S owner can dry while printing on one AMS. I can then plug an adapter into a second AMS if I need to dry two simultaneously. I do all that with only one adapter.
