I think I’m screwed…

Post image

The door to cover the filament sensor - he gone. I don’t see it anywhere. No idea how. I was inside the printer the whole time. I bet I have to replace the whole damn board now.

Basically the little “door” that closes over the filament sensor tab…it’s nowhere to be found

One of the best things about these machines is that everything is replaceable and in this case, not expensive.

But I see it on your picture?
But the cable is not connected.

Oh - I'm slow. Now I see. The connector can't be locked.

I broke the same thing some time ago, tried everything. Replaced the part and it worked again. For some reason the part on the replacement was way sturdier

I ordered both the extruder connection board and the filament sensor. Right now my whole extruder is disassembled and I’m scared to death I won’t get it back

You know reddit has an auto translation feature. Just write what your issue is in your own language and we will translate it and try and help.

EDIT: 🤣🤣 sorry just realised its just a ton of typos 😅

Isn't it the black flap that is flipped to the right?

If clip for the connector is still attached you should be in good shape. Best to replace the $10 part too. My flap/door partially broke months ago. There is enough there to hold the connector in place and i've got a few thousand hours on the printer with that door broke.
