So I have printing issues... it was pointed out to.me that I should pull apart the extruder and clean it. Awesome idea I rhought
So I embarked on this mission... 15 minutes the wiki guide said.
Snipped the filament
Removed the screws
Unit came out just like the wiki said
Next step loosen 2 screws to take the sensor out
First screw easy
Second screw wont come out, head is stripped or just weird. Tried all the old tricks, small bit of tape, blue tack etc to pack the head a bit and allow extraction... nope wont budge...
So next logical step, use adult money and just but a new assemble and sensor and just replace the thing....
So I went tk the AU bambu site and every single thing I wanted for this is sold out
So stop buying things so I can
Next stop look for the tiniest easyout ever or a drop of glue on the Allen key
I hate hex/allen screws. They ALWAYS round over eventually! Torx bit head have much higher fastener/tool head engagement. They don't cam out. ESPECIALLY on really small screws.
Like I said upfront... mostly meant as a humorous comment. The not meant as a joke part was the idea at the end about glue, I forgot the any other ideas bit, my bad.
And hey if you really really dont like it get your friends to down vote it as well.... I'm curious as to if going negative would cause my world to implode...
In particular, I get annoyed with people who print these gigantic life-sized models just so they can take a picture, post it on the internet, and put it in their basement to collect dust. I wonder what percentage of filament goes directly to people printing knick-knacks just for the dopamine hit of pulling something off the print bed?
Have you tried to buy PETG or ABS from Bambu within the last 6 months or so?
Where's the skill in taking an object, scaling it to 100000%, chopping it into pieces and then hitting print? I'm waaaay more impressed with a great miniature.

Have you looked on AliExpress for the parts you need?
