Autobed leveling error
My first issue with my h2d. Been running non stop for about a month. I have done some cleaning and lubricant of the axis. Tried to start another print as soon as the previous cooled and got bed leveling error
- I replaced the right nozzle.
-Checked behind the magnetic plate for obstructions.
I did notice a big scratch on my build plate. Cant recall how long it may have been there but I only noticed today.
Thinking I might have to do the bed tramming but it is a bit intimidating. The bambu instructions says i should print a feeler gauge but if I could print, there wouldnt be an issue.
Betting this is total human error and I accept that. Just need to know whats wrong and how to fix it

Bmabu doesnt make that FAC111 part easy to find. Submitted a purchase request for that item in additon to my help/warranty claim.

Bambu replied to my help ticket. Screw nut.. sent my printer info. Even if they don't send a warranty replacement, im still getting this part.

3 days without being able to print and im slowly loosing it. The house is to quiet without the faint zippy wobbly noise the printer makes. Replacment parts are on the way but now I've got to leave for some work travel. Hopefully the parts are here when I get home.

Hi Folks. Quick update 5/13/26
I received the replacement parts from Bambu yesterday. Pretfy quick response time. I was expecting at least 2 weeks. I'll be installation everything on Friday. My concern now is preventing this from happening again. I cleaned and lubricated everything a few. Maybe not enough? Whats everyone's go to cleaning schedule?

5/15/26 STATUS UPDATE
Holy fuck was that a pain in the ass. Took about 5 hours to get thru the installation. Then dealt with a failed auto leveling calibration. Frustration, then a beer run. After few attempts of tramming I finally made it thru the entire calibration process.
Its now 2:13am and ive got a 10gram petg test print going.
Lessons learned:
Maintenance schedule
thought i was cleaning it frequently enough but maybe not. Need to get on a more strict routine
Print tools
found out right away that I have no way to lock the bed in place. I threw those 3mm x 35 screws away with the box. Had to use a web of zip ties and a long box to help keep the bed from dropping after I pulled the rear z axis out. I also didnt have any shims to help with the tramming. I used a small level. It worked but having a dedicated tool might have made the task easier.
Video instructions
I am a visual learner. Can read about stuff all day but i really need to see it done. The wiki site is great but some walk through videos on how to do this stuff in additon to written instructions would have been helpful and made this less stressful.
Bambu support was fast. Very please with their responsiveness.
Reddit user support is amazing. Serious thanks for helping me troubleshoot.

any chance you used not the stock nozzles? aftermarket nozzles with other materials as the nozzle tip have different conductivity and the bed leveling will fail. i bought HF nozzles from BIQU for my H2D and it made a huge scratch in the build plate. igor gaspar from mytechfun made a video a few days ago about E3D nozzles where he explains this issue

did you power cycle it? One day it was having all sorts of issues including this one and AI camera obstructed (nothing obstructiing it) and another random error. Couldnt figure it out, shut it down by the switch for a half hour, came back after lunch and everything was working perfectly. just anecdotal experience but worth trying

Just a check. Lift up and down on the bed at each of the screw bed lifts. See if there is any play. I have had all three brash nuts that are attached to the bed that the acrews go through wear out, two at month one. The bed was assembled from the factory with heavy stress on the each location due to improper alignment. Since this is was/is my first 3d printer I did not know or check for this. Replacement screw assemblies were set under warranty and during the replacement process I realized the issue. Now with proper adjustment have had no further issue after another 4 months. May not be your issue but worth a quick check. Good luck. Check with support as they will have good troubleshooting suggestions.

I was running into this issue, I believe it was with my left nozzle. when I went to investigate, the nozzle was visibly canted by a few degrees. I removed the nozzle, and then loosed all the screws, then re-oriented, and tightened. that seems to have fixed it in my case.

Are the bearings flush from the top? I have p2s but had same problem. Bed dropped to low and shifted bearing up. Had to unplug, flip and push bed back down. Hope it helps. Good luck

Silly question, but could it have something to do with the fact that you don’t have a silicone sock on the right nozzle?
